Code of Honor
AI trainers hold immense responsibility for training models that will shape our future. Pareto is proud to be creating a new way to access this meaningful work while developing cutting-edge AI systems that are deeply aligned with human values.
Our community of AI trainers is built and sustained by trust with both our trainers & requesters. Our goal is ultimately to ensure a sustainable, long-term, & continuous stream of work for those in our community by protecting this trust.
Please note the following:
- Forte and Pareto Projects (Beta) is an early-stage and rapidly growing community, therefore this list is not exhaustive and is subject to revision.
- Nothing in the Code of Honor shall be read to contradict, limit, or alter the terms of the Independent Contractor Agreement.
To ensure the integrity of our work & community, we ask everyone to adhere to the following Code of Honor:
Confidentiality
Do not share any confidential information outside of project-specific channels. Confidential information includes, but is not limited to, the mentioning of the client’s name, project details, or task information. Messages containing confidential information will be automatically removed.
No Automation or Use of AI
Unless explicitly instructed in our Project Guidelines, don't use automation or AI to replace human judgment while working on AI projects. Steer clear of using bots, automated scripts, grammar extension tools, or any form of AI to simulate human input as this corrupts data, perpetuates bias, & causes model collapses.
Intellectual Property
Do not share or submit copyrighted materials that are created & owned by other parties when completing tasks on Pareto projects.
Stick to One Account
Using multiple accounts or engaging in any form of account sharing on our platform is strictly forbidden.
Misrepresentation
Misrepresentation of name, personal information, banking details, professional expertise, email address, and/or location is strictly forbidden.
Banking Information
Contractors must use their bank account directly named after the account holder to collect payouts. Pareto will not payout to any other account not under the contractor’s name, including PayPal, Payoneer, Wise, etc. The use of one bank account across multiple Pareto profiles is strictly prohibited.
Commitment
Contractors are responsible for completing project tasks and time commitments they’ve signed up for. Contractors may not abandon projects to join other projects.
Respect
No mean, rude, or harassing comments to other community members or the Pareto team. Maintain a professional relationship with other members and refrain from asking personal questions or engaging in humor that could be construed as sexual harassment. Avoid remarks that might isolate others based on their religious beliefs, political views, or personal identity.
Stay On Topic
Please ensure your posts are relevant to the channel you're posting in. Do not spam project or community channels with irrelevant conversations or texts.
No Spam
Do not spam channels with self-promotions, giveaways, or links to install malware.
Moderation
Posts violating the Code of Honor or channel posting guidelines are subject to moderation by the Pareto team.
Reporting Unethical Behavior
To foster a collaborative and ethical community, we encourage you to report any violations of our Code of Honor to @Parul our Community & Support Manager.
Comply with the Law
Do not violate any laws.
Company Resources
Use company resources, including but not limited to Pareto emails, proprietary software, intellectual property, and communication channels, for their appropriate purpose.
Violating the Code of Honor
Failure to comply with the code of Honor may result in warnings, losing your contract, payment holds, or legal action, depending on the severity and frequency of the violations.
If any abnormal patterns or suspicious activity are detected, Pareto reserves the right to delay or withhold payouts to review submissions retroactively. Pareto may retroactively reject submissions if the quality of work or contractor information is flagged as suspicious. Pareto also reserves the right to end our relationship at any point based on our needs and priorities or the needs and priorities of our clients.
For a detailed list of all contract responsibilities, please refer to the Independent Contractor Agreement which you signed upon initiating work with Pareto.
